About Us

Mwana Anokosha—meaning “Every Child is Precious”—is a registered Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO 04/2025) based in Zimbabwe. We are dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities by ensuring they have equal access to education, healthcare, shelter, nutrition, and opportunities for personal growth. Founded on the belief that every child deserves dignity and opportunity, our work is guided by national laws and international frameworks such as the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and the Zimbabwe Children’s Act.

Our Vision

Identify the needs of children with disabilities and provide them with education, decent shelter, access to health, food, and entrepreneurship in line with the Children's Act ( Chapter 5.06) of 2001

Our Mission

Bridge the gap between children with disabilities and those who are able-bodied to make sure children with disabilities have equal access to basic needs.
